“I’m really glad it’s a gas stove instead of induction, and everything in my bedroom is still in perfect condition.”
“Dependable radiators, and walls that I can’t hear anything through.”
“I’ve not had the cooker break down once every few weeks.”
“The internet connection is better and more reliable now.”
“Keep the noise down, especially during night hours, and make sure non-residents are not allowed in the bedroom corridor areas.”
“The cold tap does not always come out properly icy. I reckon it has something to do with how far the main cold water tanks are from my sink, so the first stretch, like the first 10 to 20 seconds, is more lukewarm than cold. I definitely wouldn’t drink it in that first bit. The good news is, that’s the only thing I’d change.”
“I got the bedroom that sits right next to one of the lounge areas, which is where people tend to hang out and talk. I usually needed quiet to focus on my work, but the noise from there kept coming through and really threw me off. I honestly think it would help a lot if there was a way to cut down on how much sound travels from the lounges to the nearby rooms or flats. On top of that, during the day the staff would often chat in the hallways while they were working, and that was distracting for me too when I was trying to get things done.”
“The flooring in the bedroom and bathroom.”
“I didn’t have a shared bathroom.”
