“The building isn’t very clean. When we moved in, the rooms weren’t tidy at all. The study room is constantly cluttered, and it never seems clean. The biggest issue is the bin area. It’s usually blocked and hard to access, which means it can get in the way of the fire exit, and there’s also no recycling set up there. On top of that, it doesn’t feel secure. The back exit door is supposed to lock when you close it, but it never does. Now, because of the wind, the door has been blown completely off, so the back of the building is definitely not secure. The maintenance visits also feel a bit excessive at times. They seem to come in every week, and I get that checks need to happen, but it could be done more efficiently. For example, they could inspect the fire doors and the fire blanket in the same visit instead of doing them separately.”

“If we had a bit more space, we could fit in a gym and a larger communal area, which would really help students meet new people and enjoy more social events.”
