“This place has an absolutely great location. You’re basically beside a shopping mall, and the university is only a short walk away. The apartment itself is really well looked after, and the team is genuinely friendly and always happy to help. My room was bigger than I expected, which was a nice surprise. The kitchen was just as impressive, it’s more than spacious enough for all six of us. We did run into a couple maintenance issues at the start, but they were fixed quickly thanks to the staff. I honestly had a great time here.”

“I’m not sure why, maybe it’s the ventilation or something with the building, but the en-suite situation is like this: whenever someone cooks in the kitchen, you can instantly smell this really strong odour in the bedroom. Doesn’t matter if you’re in the room right beside the kitchen or the one at the far end of the hall. Honestly, it’s a bit better in the corridor, but it’s still really annoying.”

“Make the bedroom bigger too, and also expand the bathroom since it feels a bit tight right now.”

“The maintenance could be better since several doors are broken, and the place needs more cleaning.”

“I really love the variety of people and the whole vibe of the accommodation. Because it holds so many residents, you get the chance to meet loads of different people, and it honestly has been one of the best parts of being here. The location is also great, and there are so many activities happening too. I’ve met so many different people since moving in, and that alone has made the experience amazing. The plaza is only a 5 minute walk to Leeds Beckett Uni, about 10 minutes to the University of Leeds, and it’s also around a 5 minute walk to other accommodations. On top of that, you’re close to Big Morrisons, Home Bargains, and Iceland, so it’s really easy to sort out food shopping. The team are outstanding and genuinely always willing to help. They make sure residents feel listened to, supported, and valued. Maintenance staff are also on it all the time and do an incredible job fixing things quickly. Overall, the look and feel of the rooms and the place as a whole is a solid 9 out of 10. The bedrooms have the perfect amount of storage space, and the beds are really comfortable. The study spaces are kept clean too, which I love, especially when I’m trying to focus.”

“The place doesn’t look very put together. The flat feels dated, the carpets are old, and a few of the walls are painted odd colours, so it’s harder to really feel like home.”
