Everything automatically switches down to low after about 20 minutes, and you have to manually turn it back on every 20 minutes. The issue is that when it is really cold, energy demand is high. In practice, they let you turn it on only three times back to back, and then even if the room is already around 16 to 18 degrees, you still have to wait several minutes before you can switch it on again.”

“The room could really use better soundproofing.”

“Thinking about this year specifically, I’ve been staying here for about two years total. In my first year, the internet was really reliable. It rarely, if ever, dropped. But this year, it feels like there have been a lot more internet problems, and that worries me a bit, especially when I’m trying to get work done here instead of at university. That’s basically my main concern, though, and everything else has been fine.”
