“The biggest thing I’d say needs improving is the price of the flat. Once you add the laundry cost on top, it feels like it’s gone way past reasonable, almost to the point of being ridiculous. Next year the rent looks like it’s going up to close to 10 grand for the whole year. And I’ve probably already had laundry increase this year too, from around 6-something to £7.20 a week. So before long, it’s going to work out at about £10 a week just to do a load of laundry, which is absolutely crazy.”
