“The wall on the outside of my bedroom was treated for mold twice, but that didn’t actually solve the real issue. The mold and dampness in my room made me sick, and it took almost two months of not staying in the property for my symptoms to calm down. I’ve always kept a dehumidifier running, I never leave damp clothes or towels in there, and I try to keep the window open whenever I can to air the room out. Even so, the damp comes back. The room ends up smelling bad, and some of my things started growing mold too because the underlying problem was never properly fixed.”
