“It’s a pretty sociable place to stay, and the staff are really friendly and always happy to help. The only downside is that the social atmosphere can get a bit annoying when people are loud late at night and into the early hours, but it’s not too bad overall. I do like that there’s a strong sense of community.”

“The folks at New Medlock are really nice and they’re always around if you need a hand. Maintenance responds quickly whenever anything comes up. The rooms feel great, with plenty of space, and the shared areas and bathrooms are just as good. Everything looks modern, fresh, and very clean.”

“The place itself is nice, and the kitchen is really good too. My only big issue was the noise insulation inside the apartment. Sound carried from one room to another, and it was especially bad because my room faced the common room. When people were having parties at night, I could hear everything clearly. It honestly made me feel anxious and stressed. I really wish the residents were taught how important it is to keep things quiet at night. I could have reported it, but since I was the only international student in the dorm, I didn’t want to cause trouble or end up being treated differently.”

“I want the parcels sorted more properly so they’re easier to locate right after delivery, because sometimes they just can’t seem to find them.”

“Staff handled the complaints a lot better, like when it was noisy or the lift was out of order.”
