“I’m a 25-year-old postgraduate student living at Quay Point Studios, and I’m genuinely really happy with the place. The accommodation, the staff, my room, and the location are all spot on. The water pressure is excellent, the bed is really comfortable, and my room gets great natural light. The only thing I’d change is the desk chair quality. If you sit there for long periods, it can get pretty uncomfortable. It would be even better to have a separate desk area away from the kitchen island, ideally somewhere in front of the windows, with dedicated plug sockets.”

“Since it was my first time studying abroad, I definitely had a few issues figuring out how to use the microwave and the laundry room. The first time I tried doing laundry, I ran into some problems with the app. Turned out I had downloaded a newer version than what they needed. But they’ve already updated the laundry room instructions, so that’s been helpful. I’d just like a bit more guidance on using the microwave, the hob, and the other basics. That said, the check-in process and everything else were really straightforward and easy.”

“If I had to change one thing about where I’m staying, it would be the laundry setup. The laundry room is pretty small, and it gets crowded a lot, so it’s not very convenient when students need to use the machines.”

“It feels like better value for the money. There are actually way more studios out there for the same price, and many of them provide a lot more, so I’ve realized that after looking around.”

“The one area that could use improvement is how quiet it is late at night and early in the morning. It would really help if the management set out some clear rules or guidelines for noise.”
