The laundry room is kind of far from my room. It would have been better if there were one closer. The elevator has broken down twice since I moved in back in January 2024. I think they should come up with a real fix for whatever keeps causing the problems. Also, the website should clearly say that we are responsible for paying for laundry. It would be great to have a blender in the kitchen too.

The WiFi is way better now. It’s also better at keeping the noise down when students are up really late, and the security feels improved too. They’ve done a good job controlling the rat problem as well. The receptionists should be a lot more polite, though. And honestly, the rent should be cheaper, because the accommodation is pretty appalling.

They could definitely improve the bathroom and the hot water, and the WiFi needs to be better too.

It was really not clean at all. There was mold everywhere, the paint was peeling, and I had a silverfish problem too. Also, I wish the staff would be more supportive. Like, not rolling their eyes or saying “why does no one make my job easy” when my flatmate reported another male flatmate sending her unwanted explicit messages and she didn’t feel safe.

Keeping the area safe should be a top concern, but since that’s not really something the accommodation can control, I’d say the biggest improvement would be upgrading the WiFi service.

Could you make the bathroom a little larger?

It’s pretty close to the conservatoire, and it would be great if the room didn’t have an unpleasant smell.

They really need more study rooms, since right now there are only two spaces to study and just one of them has a door. The other one gets pretty loud when people are in the common area.
