“The mattress isn’t working for me. The one currently in the room is way too soft, and I end up sleeping uncomfortably. It would be really helpful if the place offered harder or semi-firm mattresses for students who like that kind of support.”

“Better beds overall. A lot of us aren’t used to spring mattresses, so it would be nice to have the option to go with something firmer.”

“I’d definitely like better storage options in the kitchen. I really, really wish there were more power sockets. Right now I only have two outlets in the corner of the kitchen area and just one near the tables, and honestly that’s not enough. They should be placed more evenly around the space. I’d also love to see another common room, or maybe even a common room in each block.”

“The lighting inside the rooms is so dark.”

“The room and bed felt bigger, and the repairs and maintenance were handled much faster.”

“The main thing I think could be improved about the place is how they communicate about maintenance. I’ve had a few housemates who haven’t had any water for the last two weeks, and they still don’t know when it’s going to be sorted for them. The updates have been pretty unclear about what to expect, so that’s my biggest concern.”

“It would be better if the kitchen got cleaned more often.”

“I have more space in the bathroom, and there are fewer people in the apartment because I share the kitchen with only seven others.”

“The hot water in the shower does not always work, and I wish the shower knobs were better so they would be easier to turn.”

“There should be more places to do laundry, plus more dryer access. The rooms need double beds, and the en-suite bathrooms should be bigger. Also, it would be better to have shared common areas in each block instead of just one common room for everyone.”
