“The check-in process is pretty straightforward, and the office stays open all day when you arrive so you can ask any questions or get help with anything you need. The building and the whole campus are absolutely stunning. On top of that, they give you an information leaflet right away with everything you might need, including maintenance, security, and the out-of-hours number. The laundry prices are fair too, though the dryers can occasionally fail to work properly on the first try.”

“Public transport needs to improve. We definitely need more buses!”

“I’d love to see more choices for food, like food trucks.”

“It’s pretty quiet and antisocial around campus. Not a lot goes on, and there isn’t much of a shared social area for people in flats to mix, unlike in Frenchay.”

“The student area at the Glenside campus feels really dated and run down. It’s not open in the evenings either, and most people only end up there as a spot to kill time between classes. It’s not very social, and they don’t even serve drinks.”

“More ways to figure out who you might end up living with, so you can get to know them ahead of time.”

“Are there other people on the same course staying in the accommodation?”

“The bathrooms and kitchens should be cleaned more thoroughly before the new students move in.”

“There should be a free bus running from Glenside to Frenchay, plus a gym in Glenside. Also, can you either extend the opening hours, or set up another shared space in the flats where people can hang out, like a pool table?”

“Everything feels so much cleaner. Fresh paint, new fridges, and brand new floors, all of it.”
