“I’d want to update the building and do a full renovation. I mean the rooms and the common areas too, because honestly nobody really uses them, especially the gym. People do use the gym, but I would still renovate it, because there aren’t even proper weights or anything. It’s just not set up well. I feel like if you improve things like that, it would make students actually want to live here. You know, you eat with your eyes, so if everything looks better and feels better, people will be more excited to stay. And I would ask first, what else would I do? I think I’d just go all in on the renovation, including switching out the laundry machines. I’d probably stop using Circuit brand too, since it’s way too expensive. You need people to want to live here, not feel like they have to run off and do their laundry somewhere else. You know what I mean?”

“They should actually include the pool table equipment, the football table equipment, and the ping pong table stuff. Also, they need to sort out the cinema room. The fridge is really small and there’s no freezer at all. There’s basically no sense of community. That said, the rooms are nice.”

“There are more events now, and the service has gotten better, especially the repair work.”

“I’d get rid of the silverfish in the rooms on the ground floor.”

“They need to take care of the bug problem. Also, the elevator should be fixed. The washing machines need attention too. And the drains should get more regular maintenance.”

“I’d end my contract and look for somewhere else. The maintenance team really need to get my place sorted so it’s safe and fit to live in. I still have repairs outstanding, including damp problems. A few things were already broken when I moved in, and I’ve reported them again and again, but they keep marking the jobs as done without actually fixing anything. My shower has mould and leaks too. Honestly, it doesn’t seem like anyone is using the facilities, there’s no real sense of community, and there aren’t any activities planned. The only thing I’ve seen is one bingo night.”

“Not good value for money at all. It’s not worth it in the slightest. If the price were about half of what I’m paying now, I could at least see where the quality is coming from.”

“I keep running into silverfish in my room, so if there’s a way to permanently get rid of them, I’d really appreciate it.”

“The kitchen feels pretty cramped, with not much counter space to cook on. The tap also isn’t great. I’d much rather have a real oven instead of a microwave. If I end up needing a microwave, I’ll get one myself, since it’s a bit too small when I’m cooking bigger meals. On top of that, the fridge sweats a lot, and the freezer is really tiny.”
