“Overall, I’d say my experience here has been pretty average. At the start, it was really tough to adjust to life in a new country. Because I’m Asian and I’m in the minority here, I was honestly worried about racism. But over time, I realized things were fine, since people have been pretty understanding and accepting. My place to stay has been okay, and my flatmates are friendly. The one area I’m not happy with is the cleaning service. When I arrived, there wasn’t a recycling bin at all, and there was only one bin. Also, the cleaners who come don’t seem to replace or sort that out. I really think the cleaning in the flats could be better.”

“Make the room quieter by improving the soundproofing, because you can hear people talking in the hallway quite a lot.”
