“I’d really like them to cut the cost of laundry and fix maintenance faster. For example, when we first moved in, we reported that there’s a hole in the door to our toilet, and now they’ve just taped over it and stuck some metal piece over the spot, even though they told us they would actually replace the door. Also, this is a shared communal bathroom, so it’s frustrating to see it handled like that.”

“All I can think about is how the fire alarms keep going off.”

“I felt a lot less safe when the apartment door started acting up and ended up unlocked, and then a stranger was able to get inside.”

“Split the residents by sex.”

“It’s pretty hard to reach the recycling drop off, and the communal area is the same, you have to go out of the building and then come back in. The bin and rubbish points could be placed in more convenient spots and they should be kept in better condition. There also seemed to be a lot of things needing fixing, especially things like the toaster or oven, so better facilities and equipment would really help. Repairs also need to be dealt with quicker, particularly the urgent ones. For example, we didn’t have hot water for two weeks.”

“The en suite was pretty dirty when I first moved in, and almost everyone in my flat had broken window handles and toilet seats, so the appliances don't feel that great quality-wise.”

“It’s a really straightforward way to ask questions when you’re moving in and getting settled. That said, I moved in for TB2, so I guess this might have been an option earlier in the year.”

“I love that the washing machines and dryers here are priced cheaper.”

“Need more cleaners for the shared areas, since cleaning is still required. Also, there should be maintenance and upgrades to the utilities.”

“The showers have timers, so they shut off automatically, I guess to conserve water. It ends up making me stay in there longer though, because I’m constantly having to turn the shower back on.”
