“Right now my rent is £800 a month, paid in seven instalments of about £1,300. But the kitchen is really disgusting. My food has been stolen too, and my appliances worth around £200 have been broken with nobody taking responsibility. For the first three months I also had no view because there was scaffolding up, and I wasn’t told about it before I bought the place. It wasn’t mentioned in any of the emails or on any of the apps. That situation completely messed up my sleep because I had no natural light. On top of that, the reception team at the front is constantly dismissive and rude whenever I try to speak to them.”
