“There’s a curfew in place that you can’t get around, even if you try to make noise.”

“A lot of the furniture feels really old and it’s starting to rot. I don’t think it’s worth the prices they charge for it. That said, it is still cheaper than staying in central Greenwich. If they upgraded the furniture and put in some proper sets, it would be a lot better.”

“I’d rather have a fan in the room. In winter, rooms can feel really warm, so the fan would help circulate some cooler, fresher air for the people inside.”

“The repairs and replacements for the facilities feel inconsistent. The cleanliness is also really poor. When I first moved in, there were dead bugs behind the sofas, the kettle was dirty, and the microwave had rust on it and did not work properly. Also, a fridge with just three shelves is not really enough for four people. This happened last year too, when I lived with seven people in a flat. Even though we have mini fridges in our rooms, the space just isn’t sufficient.”

“When I first got to my bedroom, it wasn’t in great shape, so it took a bit of effort to make it look good. I also checked out the other rooms in the flat, and somehow theirs looked a lot nicer than mine. I think a fresh carpet, repainting the walls, and replacing the old furniture would make a huge difference to how comfortable it feels. That said, the rest of the apartment was really lovely, and I genuinely enjoyed staying here.”

“It would help if you made it more like the campus I go to.”

“There’s less humidity in the room now, since the moisture has been cut down.”
