“When it comes to sending and receiving parcels, the staff are really good with the mail, and it’s easy to come by and pick up your parcel. For security, I’d say it feels pretty safe, and there’s staff on night duty too. The heating in the accommodation is excellent, and it’s honestly a big relief in a cold city like London. The location is also great. It’s simple for me to commute to school, and even though there isn’t a gym on site, the school gym isn’t far away so it works out fine.”

“The hangout spaces feel nice, but you can’t really hear the people chatting out on the street. Also, the bed is bigger.”

“More activities for the students who live here would be great, so they can connect and really get to know one another.”

“I’d say we really need more washing machines, because we only have four. That makes it pretty hard to get a slot to do your laundry at any point during the week. And with around 300 people living here, having just four machines in the whole building feels way too little.”

“It’s probably mainly down to how good the kitchen and bathroom areas are.”

“The place has a decent social vibe overall. It would help a bit to make it easier to meet new people, since right now we’re usually just hanging out with folks we already knew or met through the university. Also, the mattress quality could be better, the kitchen stuff needs improvement, and there should be more than just one pot and one pan for five people. Maybe even a nicer touch with the room decor would go a long way too.”

“The cluster flat setup isn’t great if you’ve got social anxiety. On top of that, there don’t seem to be enough cleaners in the building, so the flats end up really messy, and then other people feel like they have to tidy it up even though they didn’t make the mess. Just bring in cleaners every week.”
