“The mice need to be gone. The place could use better cleaning too. The Wi-Fi is better, and it’s nice that there are actually people working at the front desk. The only downside is I still end up waiting a lot of the time, unfortunately, just to pick up a package.”

“The place is pretty pricey for the area, and it’s only a reasonable walk to campus. That said, the vibe here feels a bit more stuck up than in most UCL halls. Like, when you visit friends in other accommodations, people actually say hello to each other. Also, there are way too many silverfish.”

“Honestly, Circuit Laundry really needs to be shut down. It’s a terrible, badly run company. The prices are outrageous. I sometimes end up paying something like half of my weekly grocery budget just to wash and dry my clothes. On top of that, the machines are constantly not working, the system is often slow or not responding, and customer service is genuinely bad. I honestly cannot figure out why Unite Students does not have its own laundry machines. Whatever the reasons are, Circuit Laundry’s service is also making Unite Students look bad. That’s exactly what happens when you pay 10 GBP for laundry that comes back soaking wet and basically impossible to dry, or when the machine jams and refuses to work, or when it takes your money but will not start. Every single person in the accommodation says the same thing. There are always loads of complaints I hear from other students about it.”

“The kitchen feels much better maintained, and the upkeep and overall quality are excellent.”
