“Honestly, I feel like residential life has really made this place great. The accommodation itself is fantastic. The only thing I would change is the bathroom size, because there isn’t much room for a shower or anything like that. The toilet is too close, and sometimes I just don’t have enough space to stand comfortably. That’s really the only improvement I’d suggest. Other than that, everything is brilliant.”

“They really need to be more careful with resident cleaning, especially in the studios. I understand it’s their job, but if they don’t clean or take care of themselves, then the rest of us have to deal with nasty smells in the hallway. And those odors end up getting into our rooms through the space under the doors. This is not something we should have to tolerate or take responsibility for.”

“There should be more activities in the houses so that everyone gets to know each other.”

“I think the main thing that could be improved is having some kind of shared communal area. It would be great to have something like a billiards table or even a ping pong table. Another really fun idea would be a proper games set up, like a PlayStation or another console, with bean bags and a comfortable place to sit. Basically, I want somewhere in the building where students can go to relax and just chill. Also, I feel like there should be more seating outside. If there aren’t many places to sit already, then it would be awesome to add some kind of events as well, especially outside. Since it’s by the river and there’s loads of green space, it would be perfect for things like music nights, maybe even DJs playing outdoors. That way students could actually hang out outside on the green areas by the river.”
